Meet the Team
THE OFFSHORE TEAM
Andy Brodie joined UKPS in January 2010 as the General Manager. Andy has a comprehensive knowledge of recruitment and the subsea oil and gas industry. Sara Logan leads the Offshore team with Sam Cheesman, Leila Bye and Sally Spaull as Senior Co-ordinators. They have all attended the REC Certificate in Recruitment Practice course. Our Offshore Co-ordinators Lisa Holmes, Michaela Hunt-Chapman and Tonia Weldon complete the team. Although our Co-ordinators have individual expertise to focus on specific placements, they are all experienced in dealing with any type of requirement.

Sara Logan
Sara joined UKPS in January 2008. She is responsible for the overall performance of the team and for ensuring that a high level of service is maintained at all times. With 20 years recruitment experience in dealing with varied disciplines covering ROV and onshore placements, Sara’s knowledge and expertise is vital making her an important part of the business.
Sam Cheesman
Sam initially joined the Offshore team at UKPS in February 2002 and other than a short 18 month away from the industry, she has been with us ever since. Prior to UKPS she spent 3 years in mainstream recruitment and 10 years in project management within the manufacturing industry.
Leila Bye
Leila has worked for UKPS since April 2005, with a good eye for candidate sourcing and knowledge of the ROV offshore industry she is a valuable asset to the team. Prior to joining UKPS, Leila spent 3 years in Customer Care and 2 years in travel.
Sally Spaull
Sally joined UKPS in May 2006 and has worked her way up to Senior Co-ordinator level. Sally comes from a high street recruitment and sales background and deals mainly with the ROV, Survey and Medic side of the business.
Lisa Holmes
Lisa has worked with UKPS since July 2007 and has progressed to Co-ordinator level. Her back ground includes experience in administration, personal assistance and customer care. Lisa primarily deals with ROV and Crane Operator placements.
Michaela Hunt-Chapman
Michaela joined UKPS in November 2007 and has also progressed to Co-ordinator level. She deals with a variety of Survey, Rigging and ROV requirements. Her background knowledge includes business travel and customer care.
Tonia Weldon
Tonia has worked in the offshore industry for the last 20 years. She has dealt with all aspects of recruitment placement and travel, and has in-depth knowledge of Survey, ROV and the diving industry. Prior to joining UKPS in January 2010, she worked with Shell, Racal Survey, ATP and DeepOcean.
THE ADMINISTRATION TEAM
The Administration Team is responsible for processing offshore personnel CV’s and certificates, receiving personnel invoices, timesheets and expense claims, and ensuring all the information we hold on our database is up-to-date. The team consists of Jo Hembling, Jodie Shilling and Holly Cook who have a combined 15 years experience working for UKPS.

Jo Hembling
Jo joined UKPS in October 2001 and over the years has progressed to Office Manager. She focuses on maintaining the Quality Management System and other accreditations and memberships. She is also responsible for organising staff personal information, weekly reporting and generally ensuring the office runs smoothly.
Jodie Shilling
Jodie has worked with UKPS since August 2005. Her role is to efficiently cover and assist with all administration tasks including processing offshore personnel invoices, timesheets and expense claims. Jodie’s background experience includes reception duties and daily customer care during 3 years at a Leisure Resort.
Holly Cook
Holly joined UKPS in January 2009. She is the first point of contact for all telephone enquiries from offshore personnel and clients. Her responsibilities include general administration duties, updating personnel CV’s and certificates and supporting the Offshore Co-ordinators. She was previously employed as a Customer / Banking Advisor for 3 years at a High Street Bank.
THE ACCOUNTS TEAM
The Accounts Team deals with all aspects of invoice creation and payment, labour and expense processing for our offshore personnel and personnel tax queries. Steve Wilson leads the Accounts team with Joe Crisp, Su Wilson and Mike Anderson who have over 10 years combined UKPS experience.

Steve Wilson
Steve joined UKPS as the Financial Controller in June 2008. He is a qualified Certified Accountant with a wide range of experience within the accounting profession and various commercial sectors. Steve’s role covers the accounting and financial reporting aspects of the business, and he provides technical taxation advice and assistance to the Offshore team and offshore personnel.
Su Wilson
Su has worked with UKPS since May 2005. Her primary responsibility is preparing and generating payments for offshore personnel both nationally and internationally. She also deals with the offshore personnel expenses and creates their invoices for clients. Su’s previous experience encompasses secretarial duties and customer care.
Mike Anderson
Mike joined UKPS in October 2007. He has a wide range of experience acquired through many accounting disciplines, professions and industries. He is a team player who is always willing to roll up his sleeves and do whatever is necessary to achieve targets!
Joe Crisp
Joe started his career in 2005 working in the UK’s automotive industry. He joined UKPS in April 2008 and is happy to be working as part of the Accounts team, and enjoys being part of the offshore and recruitment industry. He is currently studying the AAT qualification.
